Melanie Bogus

Inline Hockey Committee Secretary

Melanie Bogus is the Secretary of the USARS Inline Hockey Committee and the Secretary/Treasurer of USARS National Inline Hockey Organization. She is responsible for fiscal management and administrative support. She prepares budgets, monitors expenses, does banking and prepares financial reports. She works closely with USARS staff to assure athletes and staff are prepared to compete in the World Championships, World Roller Games and The World Games. She has served as the team manager for World Championships in 2018 and the team manager for the World Roller Games in 2019.

Melanie has a passion for Inline Hockey has been involved with the sport for over 20 years in a variety of volunteer positions. She has served as the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Roller Hockey League since 2009. She also served as President of Penn Trafford Inline Hockey for 7 years and served as the Treasurer for the organization for 6 years.

Charles Sgrillo II

As a player, Charles was selected to the USA inline developmental program at age 16 and competed internationally until age 23. He would go on to win world championships at ages 16, 18, & 20 as a Jr. Prospect and at 22 as a member of the Men’s National Team.

Charles began his coaching career in 2006 with a local Philadelphia team, the Fox Chase Renegades. In 2007, Charles was selected to coach in the United States Roller Sports Team USA Development Program where he would serve as head coach of teams ranging from 10U to 16U, until 2010. During this time Charles also worked as a lead instructor at the International Ice Hockey School in Pisek, Czech Republic. He currently holds a level 4 USA Hockey coach.

From 2011 to Present, Charles has been selected as an assistant coach to both the Jr. Men’s & Sr. Women’s, where he would coach to four gold medals and a silver medal. Charles has also coached college & elite inline hockey winning the American Inline Hockey League with the Philadelphia Liberty in 2018.

As a career, Charles is the Red Team Analyst at The Vanguard Group and a Professor at Drexel University teaching cybersecurity & digital forensics.
